The Importance of Standing on the Constitution

On January 6th, I chose the Constitution over Donald Trump and now voters will face the same choice. There are profound differences about the future of this country and the future of the Republican Party that are articulated today. But I truly do believe that it's important to remember that those of us that would take the oath of office really make one promise above all others: To support and defend the Constitution of the United States. And I pledge to the people of Iowa and the people of America that if you give me that great privilege, I will always stand on the Constitution - whatever it means to me.
