The Importance of Connecting With Other People

Jam: What's really important is connecting with other people. I made it early years in conference was like, conference go to talks in the corner by myself, my laptop, go back to the hotel room. And like you missed the whole point of getting people together. Like we see these people now and it's like they are impactful in the community. It's amazing to make these connections and learn from them. Jam: You can watch a lot of these talks because they are recorded. If you're not at the conference, you can at least watch them after, but it's hard to get that networking aspect.
