I think from a biological perspective, uncertainty and change are threatening to the brain. So I think for a lot of people, the change is much more threatening than just maintaining the status quo. And my general approach to life is that no matter what you start, start with a sense of possibility because possibility does change your brain. It actually makes you feel more rewarded.
