Are We Building More Complex Web Applications?

Are we building more complex applications? I want to say it all, it all dependens. There's an overwhelming load of things that are consistently moving and i have to keep my finger on in order to feel like a competent web developer. But if you're looking at what's important in general, most of the things are not that important. What's important is learning how to learn. Being able to pick up new things and and not like kind of burning yourself out or getting sort of set in your ways with technology.
