Is There a Difference Between English and Greek?

In English, we often talk about duration in linear distance, like a long time. And whereas, I don't know Greek, but according to this, she talks about it. She's Greek speakers talk about duration more often in terms of amount. The other interesting thing on this is that after she did that initial part, English speakers were trained to use Greek-like metaphors for duration. For example, instead of saying a week is longer than a day, says a week is more than a day. That training resulted in a more Greek-like performance on non-linguistic duration estimation tasks.
