The Equal Rights Amendment
The amendment was finally ratified 50 years after it was first approved by the u.s. Congress. It is designed to guarantee equal legal rights for all american citizens regardless of sex. "I think we might welcome visitors from other countries with huge billboards in every international airport in this country," she says.
