The Ecclesiastical History of England, written by the Venerable Bede, in a revised translation with introduction Life and Notes by A. M. Seller,. published in 1907. By George Bell and Sons, London. The Latin text used throughout is Mr. Plumbers. Since the addition of Dr. Giles appeared in 1842, so much fresh work on the subject has been done that it has been found necessary to rewrite the notes almost entirely.
