Preparing a Foramen

"It shows a sort of the reality behind doing science as we understand it, isn't it? Guess it's not the higher end thinking about fossils, but you have to go and find it and reconstruct it," he says. In one way they did this that i found really striking was a particular joke that only preparators make. For example, when i sneeze, i have to remember to pull my drill away from the bone, or else i'll make a foramina. And so the idea of a preparator like making a mistake and therefore making a foramen, was really funny to preparators.
