The Netherlands has the most densely concentrated livestock population in all of Europe. Livestock production account for about 15% of global greenhouse gas emissions. The Dutch's huge livestock population has led to extremely high levels of nitrogen pollution. But these are people with money, with agricultural tech hubs and they got solutions.

Feeding the world’s growing population is an increasingly difficult challenge, and climate change won’t make it any easier. Vox’s Kenny Torrella visited the Netherlands, a small country with big ideas about the future of food, to find out more about how the country is approaching the problem.
