Is Your Immune System Shaped?
When is your immune system shaped? When does that risk of allergy asthma happen? It's not pre-programmed in your genes. You don't have any gene that tells you this is going to give you asthma. No gene can prepare you for all of the things that you will encounter as you come out of your mother's womb. Early in life we have something else. We have parents that shelter you. In particular mothers that from an evolutionary point of view give you breast milk. The breast milk is full of antibodies, antimicrobial peptides and other things.
