In his native Sweden, it was widely accepted that people could learn and grow. And when he began working and studying in the United States, he sensed that there was a different zeitgeist about who's talented and who's not. So deliberate practice had what I think it was three key components: setting very specific goals,. Two was obtaining immediate feedback, whether through coaching or self analysis or whatnot...And this was the one that I find hardest, which is concentrating as much on technique as on outcome.
