The Apocalypse of John
The apocalypse of John is the only one like this that we read, but it'd be kind of like if there were no science fiction novels in the world and one landed on your doorstep. And so, part of what I do in my book is try to explain how you have all these books by people who are prophets, who have these wild visions with these bizarre images of the heavenly realms. But then in the end, God intervenes and destroys them all and sets up a good kingdom.
