Is There a Word Were Were Using on the Show?

Tortoise is the most common term used to refer to tortoises. The word nostrum was recommended by eve hughes from the u.K. She said it would be useful in a sceptic community. But i don't find that it's a commonly uttered word on the show. It's a little archaic. I use it a lot becausein writing about science space medicine, i don't want to call meopathic nostrums, remedies, or megaran.  I need something that pay like it's their potion, potion us or in whan at ta, nake oil i ga i dei want to say through those that's why i use nostrum
