Ethereum NFTs - What's the Difference?
Early on, only devs really who could create ERC721 tokens could create NFTs on Ethereum because they had to be able to either write their own smart contract or reuse an existing smart contract and use these like very complicated tools. So most of the time, no artists are not writing their own contracts. On ordinals, the experience is already in much better, much better. I would say any motivated person who's like a little technical, not that technical, could figure out how to make inscriptions. And so those are pretty streamlined. These days it's a little better for artists. It's still pretty bad.
