I Love Eliminating Your Map
Matonomy is a figure of speech that replaces the name of one thing with something else closely associated with it. It's often used in, you know, when there's shift to a vernacular within a novel. The word map is used to refer to one's face, or one's self, or selfhood. And committing suicide is, they call it eliminating your map.
