The Army's Five Weeks of Training
I suppose at the start, they were almost a bit bewildered. The enormity of what was going on, the scale of the situation probably felt quite daunting. And then, you know, the British Army, they've got five weeks to essentially try and turn them into competent soldiers. So this is a million miles away from what they're used to. You know, they've never had any military training prior to this. They came and they were sort of really willing and they were really sort of keen. But they had very little knowledge.
