The Difference Between a TPU and a GPU?
A TPU tensor processing unit is a more specialized form of hardware. It's less programmable, but it's like more heavily optimized for also assume you're on the work because you don't need very large data types. You can probably do more operations in the same amount of transistors. So TPUs have very high throughput.
