How Much Philosophy Training Does the Average Scientist Get?
Philosophy of physics is huge, right? There's a lot of philosophy of physics. But it sounds like still at the front line, they're not really working alongside. They always like these parallel tracks. If all mythology was supposed to be useful to scientists as its supposed to be, then we wouldn't have this problem. Richard Feynman said something that he didn't see as being critical in itself. So I think it isn't necessarily bad for science if people are open-minded and willing to learn from each other.
