Is Poly-Dactylism a Genetic Defect?

We have all these clues of that. Six-fingered people, we have six-toed people,. poly-dactylism isn't even necessarily in the same category as a genetic defect. So it seems to suggest that we used to just have six fingers and six toes a long time ago. Most of us have a cervical rib remnant, literally an extra rib. And this extra rib is up here in our neck. The only other animal that has that are the giant lizards that have the necessity to hold up such a heavy head.
