If you've had a long day at work and you have an eating since lunch and then you go straight into your workout like that, you're going to be relatively depleted. Take in some fast processing carbohydrate before then Whether that's simple things like toast with honey or jam something like that Taking in something that's just not a lot of fatNot a lot of protein beforehand is going to really help you build the habit of feeling your work. A cold shower can really help drop that core temperature quite a lot. And maybe even when you have it with ice water as well because very cold things can also aid recovery.
