The Importance of Respecting Our Fellow Citizens
I think indoctrination is a little strong. I mean, in some ways, it's funny you were talking about going to Catholic schools. The if Catholic schools are indoctrinating. They're not doing a particularly good job of it. To me, I consider myself a committed pluralist. And what pluralism means that we live in a big diverse country with people who believe lots of different things look differently from one another. We can make this work by respecting our fellow citizens and giving them the space to believe what they believe,. pray to whom they wish to pray to and raise their children the way that they want to.
