I fully agree with you that we don't know enough to make predictions and therefore it's not reasonable to make great sacrifices now for people several centuries in the future. And so I would say that to plan for eventualities which are plausible within the lifetime of some people already living, which means by the end of the century is prudent and would have public support. But beyond that I completely agree that we have to be cautious in how much we wait at the arguments in fact the far distant future. We won't get there right now.
