How I Got My Start in Finance
I saw a lot of my students going off to the finance and the city earning four or five times as much as I was. And so I went in through, I was one of the first financial quants in the whole derivative space. So I was hired by JP Morgan, participated in the training program and then became a quant slash swap trader. But it was a tough decision for me to kind of like, you know, leave research because I was just fascinated.
