The SEC and the CFTC Are Trying to Deflate Asset Prices
The Fed has been hoping to deflate some of these assets that got blown up when there was all this liquidity out there. The authorities have been confused by the whole damn thing, he says. A bunch of elderly people that've done things a certain way for a long time. They know how to deal with a standard thing but they just can't handle nets. That's what sucks people in.
