True: A Black Woman's Story

I don't think it's ever been as explicitly as honest and spelled out and unavoidable. It was the album that I was really destined to make, you know, from a very young age. The first thing I noticed the one true was some seconds on, some things don't just seem to fucking work. And then I think headlies last song was, fuck this industry. Which. That's just ain't. You know, those stories that are told on the album, that's what I was living in existing in every day. So it felt really good to get that out.
