Punit Dhillon is on The Business Method today here to chat about his strategies that he used to raise $500 million. Punit is a master of using adversity as fuel to exceed all expectations. Starting at nine, he almost drowned in a swimming pool. Twenty years later, he became a competitive swimmer and completed his first of several Ironman Triathlons. Now he is the chairman and CEO of Skye Bioscience Inc., a public pharmaceutical company.

Formerly the VP of finance and operations at Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Punit Dhillon raised over $125 million through multiple financings and several licensing deals. He was also instrumental to the successful in-licensing of key intellectual property and a number of corporate transactions, including the acquisition and consolidation ofInovio AS, a Norwegian DNA delivery company, and the merger with VGX Pharmaceuticals.
