The Importance of Discipleship

In those days, to be baptized into the name of Yeshua meant to join His school of disciples. In a disciple, a Talmud is a learner, a student, a full-time student. Discipleship worked the same way as an apprentice to a sage until one day he sent you out and you found that you were the sage. It involved four main jobs: Learn your teacher's words; memorize his traditions; learn halakic – how he interpreted scripture - and live it out.
