The Importance of Translation in Writing
You have an ongoing poetry group here in town that you've had for a long time. Do you feel like you can trace influences from the efforts of translation when you're writing? Well, I can trace sometimes influences from individual poets and think, oh, I'm trying to do real key here. And so mostly people try to do at least one of the poems. We bring two poems every month; read them aloud and critique them.
