How New Is This?

When i came to the united states as a graduate student, i started my ph d. In two thousand seven adte time, felt that we could play with ideas and try and seek for truth in a way that didn't have any ttendant fears. That's at least when i began to perceive students were somewhat unwilling to speak their minds or put proposals on the table in class discussion. And now, ther seems to be a fear that a lot of people feel all the time, but it actually feels much more powerless now than it id i the past.
