Aphrodite fell in love with a man born out of a tree trunk. Hermes said that he would care for the baby, but she took up with this guy. Zeus stomped his feet and sneered at them all. Aphrodite wasn't proud of how things ended up with Mira. She made Mira fall in love with her own father.
