The Death of God Theology

Right in the sixties, you had the death of God theology. There was a pervasive sense that secularization, the failure of Christianity was actually its success. The danger that we face is not the elimination of Christianity, but rather a Christian heresy. We still see that Christianity's role and influence in the novel, but it's a distorted form of it.
