How to Build a Narrative Around Pre-Existing Footage

In Queen of Blood, it's not like an actor or some sets they had access to. It was pre-existing footage. So we've got a bunch of shots that are already part of another movie. But fortunately, most of our audience will not have seen that movie and the footage looks pretty dang good. The scenes that are actually shot directly for this film are much more bare bones in terms of sets and stuff.
