What Are the Barriers to Team Adoption of Real-Time?

Elasticsearch is a real-time database set that makes it easy to operate and scale at extremely large scale. The company was founded by former Google executive Scott Forrester, who went on to found the tech firm Roxette. In an interview with CNN's John Defterios, Forrester talked about how companies are moving away from batch data warehouses in favor of more complex systems like Elasticsearch. But he also said there still needs to be some level of engineering behind these new tools so they can work properly.
