The Sims - Recontextualization of the Game Worlds

The game sitsuates a philosophical thought experiment within the realm of video games. The AI forces us to think in a disembodied and emotionless min maxing along the way. It invites us to compare this this horror of an approaching finality to that which should ostensibly be infinite. We feel morally justified in doing so because we exist as main character rather who is part of that world.
