I agree with you for different reasons than what you said, the reasons that you probably agree with. The risk to me seems higher than that upgraded human ultimately gets corrupted by power. And this becomes like like an uber dictator, like you see in various, various science fiction scenarios. I'm personally more afraid of the ethical risks of upgraded humans that of super AGI.
