Having opposite opposite sex friends was actually frowned upon unless they were your like wife or spouse or anything along those lines. Women stayed in their camp with one another and were encouraged to be friends with other women of similar age too. Men do the same i mean and you're talking about men who are fighting actively on on battlefields and through wars this is a totally different time and to be like looks gay to me oh my goshYeah it's something like you said omelette and now relationships between men because of the weird times we live in.
