How to Start a Lesson With a Low Stakes Quiz
I'm a fan of low stakes quizzes. You don't interrupt the learning episode. I like to start my lesson with a low stakes quiz twice a week. But what happens if I want to make sure that I test my students ability to retrieve knowledge about circle theorems or sequences? How do I do that within the body of a lesson on something like compound measures? Isn't it better? Or is it what's the problem with setting up as aLow stakes quiz or a mixed topic starter where the students take it seriously? Let me just ask you though, in the school you were describing in a black, do any of those children turn up late to the lesson? Okay.
