If you're trying to use the breath as the doorway into undistracted, stilat presence, and you see your mind slipping off the breath all the time, that that brings you into the situation of your frustration with your practicey. I mean, in general, if i can really pay attention to anything in a sustained way, that's victory. Any kind of focus that i attain you, no, i consider t kind of a good thing. And by the way, one thing i've found is that if you do that in con itto the body, just like, what is it in your body that gets your attention, you often wind up getting lead back to the breath
