How Many Tests Are False Negative?

The uk. Health scurit agencys, suggested that there were forty three thousand people given false negative results. It begs the question, though, why was this not noticed in the lab? What was going on when they effectively found very few positive tests coming back? Why wasn't some one raising the alarm, let alone all the usual quality assurance processes that should have been in place? And i think one thing we do need to find out is, where does this figure come from? Why of the how the uK. H s a calculated this? An an, honestly, just more trans transparency about the whole of this process will help to restore people's confidence in testing.
