The Importance of Grace in Evangelical Christianity
The vast majority of quote unquote believers in Christ nowadays are not at war with the flesh. Their thought process is, hey, I've got the grace. I'm going to did your bonhoeffer calls that what cheap grace. This is why you have evangelical leaders in evangelical churches today who are trying to make all the room they can for lgbt practicing lgbtq because they don't want to call those people to repent and do battle against their flesh. Instead, they want to accommodate it under the guise of racism or racism. So they totally distort hermeneutically what Paul is talking about there in Romans 8 1 and therefore they treat it like a loophole.
