The size and scale of these components is just staggering, and really needs these highly special pieces of equipment to install them. On top of which, even the fabricating these components needs to be done at a port because they are so big. As turbans get er, you need to have a vessel that can lift it. And then second, as i have mentioned before, there just simply aren't enough of these vessels world wide that an can handle the next generation 15 megawat turbins.
