The president's tariffs on goods from China and other countries are driving up shipping costs for businesses in the United States. The port of long beach is a 20, 25 minute drive from where i live in ala. It was crazy during that period where the ships were just all over the ban the ocean. They had to pass a lot of laws over in long beach to allow for the cargo ships to unload containers at a much faster rate.
