Is There a Difference Between Autism and Depression?
I hear stories from patients where they had a miserable time at high school. Many of these patients who we see have dropped out of high school without any formal qualifications, even though they're clearly intelligent and have ended up unemployed. You end up with individuals, autistic individuals still living with their parents in their 40s for financial reasons as well as lack of support. And I'm really arguing for the specific term Asperger's syndrome. There has another whole kind of complex backstory to it because of the discovery that hands Asperger the pediatrician also collaborated with the Nazis during the Second World War.
