The after life isn't really mentioned in the hebrew bible. We've all been taught to skate over that fact, and find those places where we can kind of wedge in our current views of the after life. Ist o tagt is more concerned with the vertical relationship, you know, non heaven and personal piety. And so many people can't invision anything differently because to them, it's all about being saved by doing good works.
