Mcklench is probably the only fighting union leader we've had in, apart from Bob Crow. He was good with the media as well he knew how to play that game and but not in a concessionary way where he would just get his point across and leave. But what we do see is that, unfortunately, the RMT was initially campaigning for below inflation pay rises they knew they were below inflation pay rise. It's militant but it's not building a workers stake it's defending partial, it's a partial defense of what's being lost. So it's not as victorious as it appears on the surface I think.
