Is There a Reactionary Elements Within the United States?
My dad fought in the first Gulf War. I've read a lot about Saddam Hussein, his regime. The idea of this one man who can sort of mystify or sort of entrant an entire nation and then kill anybody who disagrees is really interesting to me. And what I've found is that in most of these societies, if you look at the Weimar government before Hitler took over, they were like progressive utopias. So there is this reactionary element that's within the United States that got really close to total power. And I think we could have the same types of situations as here.
