Is There a Wetland Mitigation Bank?
In this chapter there's a map of all f the wetlands mitigation banks around the united states. And one thing that i noticed, because i live in michigan, is that it didn't look like there were any mitigation banks inmichigan. Well, my understanding is that it would be up to the mitigation bank tat asgot to decide where it makes the most sense to actually do wetland mitigation. There are some requirements, generally within am the federal rules, that mitigation has to happen within a certain area or watershed.
