People with a lower risk tolerance tend to bank balloons earlier and protect the gains they've already made. People with a higher risk tolerance will keep inflating to make the payouts bigger, you know, with the increased risk of losing the whole pot. The Bart test has been shown to predict real world risk taking in domains like health and economics. But strangely, this is not exactly what the researchers found.
