"Sometimes God talks to you about your hair like sometimes the Lord goes hey let's talk about your hair," says Annie Lennox. "If you're doing it for someone else's applause or approval those are the things we need to go back and say why does it matter so much that I look like her in order to feel valuable?" She adds: "I wasn't thinking about other women seeing when I cut my hair off at 24."
