Is the Angel of Death Taking a Little Poison?
The way this is explained is that because man is sinning, because Joan of the soul is not doing its mission, it's time for it to be faced with a reckoning. God sends his angels to go take the soul out of there. And as an aside, he does give somewhat of a very vivid description based upon the zohar as to what the angel of death is about to do here. The ship is starting to shake, the body is starting to get ill. We believe on at least on a spiritual level, illness is God saying, What's wrong with you? Fits your ways. Amend your ways. Take the message home to us.
